Last weekend the Lewis and Clark Pioneers beat the Stags of Claremont 27-24. The Pioneers played an extremely well first half, but still came up short on some offensive possessions and led 17-3 at half time. The Stags made a 4th quarter surge to make the came interesting. The Pioneer defense held Claremont to 251 yards of offense and forced 3 turnovers. The offense out gained Claremont by 107 yards and had 8 more first downs than the Stags.

Offense
Sophomores Connor Imel and Darrell Nelson both scored their first collegiate touch downs on Saturday
Defense
Sophomore Andrew Traver led the team in tackles with 9 and Senior Chuck Krause returned a fumble 60 yards for a touch down
Next game is this Saturday as the Pioneers host the Sagehens of Pomona-Pitzer. Kick-off is at 12pm.
